What this licence covers
  • Building, installing, replacing, repairing, servicing, testing and commissioning a building’s heating or cooling systems
  • Fire collars, when they are part of the job

Not covered

  • Work with refrigerant gases or equipment that needs a national licence under the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Act

Good to know

Like most trade licences, it also lets the holder do small jobs from another class that are part of the main job, as long as each is worth less than $3,300 and isn’t plumbing, drainage, gas or other work that needs its own licence.
