Email corrections@checkthetradie.com.au with your licence number and what needs to change. We reply within two business days.

If something here doesn’t match QBCC

Compare the page with QBCC’s licence search. If we’ve made a mistake, such as reading the wrong suburb from your address, we’ll fix it and tell you when it’s done.

If QBCC’s own record is wrong

We publish what QBCC publishes, so the lasting fix is to update your details with QBCC. Once QBCC’s data changes, this site follows the next morning. Tell us as well and we can flag the page in the meantime.

If you want your page removed

If you hold a licence as an individual (not a company) and want your page taken down, ask and we’ll remove it, usually within two business days. Company licences stay listed, because they are public business records home owners rely on, but we’ll correct anything that’s wrong.

Suspensions and cancellations

We show these as dated QBCC records and always point people to QBCC for today’s status. If a suspension has been lifted, the page already says it may have been. We can’t remove a record that QBCC published, but we’re happy to make sure the page reads fairly.
