  • Trade waste drainage and plumbing
  • Hot and cold water
  • Rainwater and stormwater drainage
  • Gas services
  • Fire hydrants and fire hose reels
  • Fire sprinklers in homes
  • On-site waste water systems, such as septic systems

Not covered

  • Fire sprinklers in apartments, shops and other larger buildings. These need a fire protection design licence, although designers who held this licence before 1 May 2021 can still do them.
