Commercial and industrial fire sprinkler systems, for holders with the required qualifications
Fire collars, when they are part of the job

Good to know

Fire protection licences cover the fire safety equipment in a building. You’ll mostly see them on apartment blocks, offices, shops and other larger buildings.

Putting in and servicing these systems is also plumbing work, so the person doing it needs a plumbing licence as well. Inspecting and testing them doesn’t.
