196 licensees on QBCC’s register hold this class. 119 hold it as a contractor licence, so can sign a contract with you directly.

What this licence covers

Building, installing and repairing shade sails, with their brackets, cables, posts and concrete footings
Building, installing and repairing signs and the structures that hold them up
Drawing plans for work they do themselves

Not covered

Work that needs its own licence, such as plumbing, drainage, gas or fire protection, unless they also hold that licence

Good to know

Like most trade licences, it also lets the holder do small jobs from another class that are part of the main job, as long as each is worth less than $3,300 and isn’t plumbing, drainage, gas or other work that needs its own licence.
